Get a new Quotation

Before creating any payment (Instant Payment, Payment Link, or BolePix), you must first generate a quotation.

A quotation defines:

  • The exchange rate between BRL and the target currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)

  • Applied spreads and fees

  • Taxes and costs

  • Financial rules and minimum/maximum limits

How the Quotation Flow Works

  1. You request a quotation with amount, currency, and conversion rule (reverse).

  2. The system calculates:

  • Exchange rate

  • Spreads and fees

  • Taxes

  • Validation rules

  1. The API returns a quotationId with all these parameters locked.

  2. You use this quotationId to create:

  • Instant Payments

  • Payment Links

  • BolePix

Quotation Validity

  • Each quotation is valid for 10 minutes (600 seconds).

  • After expiration, you must request a new quotation.

  • Expired quotations cannot be used to create payments.

This guarantees:

  • All transactions use up-to-date market rates

  • Pricing is always accurate and compliant

  • No payments are created with outdated exchange rates

Why Quotations Are Mandatory

Quotations ensure that:

  • Currency conversion is transparent and predictable

  • Fees and spreads are defined before payment

  • All payments follow the same financial validation model

This endpoint is always the first step of any payment flow in Comm.Pix.
