Get a new Quotation
Before creating any payment (Instant Payment, Payment Link, or BolePix), you must first generate a quotation.
A quotation defines:
The exchange rate between BRL and the target currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)
Applied spreads and fees
Taxes and costs
Financial rules and minimum/maximum limits
How the Quotation Flow Works
You request a quotation with amount, currency, and conversion rule (reverse).
The system calculates:
Exchange rate
Spreads and fees
Taxes
Validation rules
The API returns a quotationId with all these parameters locked.
You use this quotationId to create:
Instant Payments
Payment Links
BolePix
Quotation Validity
Each quotation is valid for 10 minutes (600 seconds).
After expiration, you must request a new quotation.
Expired quotations cannot be used to create payments.
This guarantees:
All transactions use up-to-date market rates
Pricing is always accurate and compliant
No payments are created with outdated exchange rates
Why Quotations Are Mandatory
Quotations ensure that:
Currency conversion is transparent and predictable
Fees and spreads are defined before payment
All payments follow the same financial validation model
This endpoint is always the first step of any payment flow in Comm.Pix.
